July Donation to Feeding Middlesex County!

Hello FBTH Family!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe. It sure has been one heck of a ride so far, but we are going to keep pushing forward and keep our head up, because that is the only way through.

As you may have picked up from the title, we donated to Feeding Middlesex County for our July contribution. Often times when we make a donation that is not related to an artful purpose, I am asked why did we pick that place? Or, aren’t you an ‘art organization’? So if you would indulge me for a moment, allow me to set the record straight.

We are an organization that caters to people first. Yes, art is a large part of what we do, and it does factor into how and where we donate. But when there is a crisis, like the one we are in now, we as an organization focus on how we can help the people who need it—regardless of whether or not art is involved.

Art is wonderful and beautiful and we will continue to donate art to others just as we have done for nearly 5 years now. BUT…we will also give back to those in need of food, shelter, clothing and other necessities. Our outreach extends far past our paint brushes.

So I urge you to take a look around, and decipher how you can help someone today. Being kind to others can be as simple as a friendly wave to someone you pass on the street. Let kindness seep into all aspects of your life, not just one singular part.

Feeding Middlesex County is an amazing, amazing organization! Please visit their website: feedingmiddlesexcounty.org.
