Hello FBTH Family!
2020 was unbelievable. There are so many ways to describe this year, but I think that the word unbelievable sums it up pretty well. No one could have predicted 2020 to turn out the way it did. This year hurt, without a doubt, but I also think there was some good in this year as well. No matter how bad a situation is, I think we need to see the good in it, because if we don’t, we lose the inspiration to keep pushing forward.
So let me break down some of the bright spots that From Brush to Heart had this year:
-We donated 17 times to 13 organizations, including Feeding America, Cancer Institute of NJ, Care One, Embrace Kids Foundation, and Ronald McDonald House. We donated 350 art kits this year!
-We held our first fundraiser in February—it was a big hit! Thank you for your support.
-We held several online events: Craft With Us livestreams, Halloween Craft Nights, Holiday Craft Nights.
-We had an Art Kit Donate-A-Thon, where we donated 300 art kits in 3 months time!
-We were blessed to have celebrated our 5th anniversary on October 16th.
As part of this end-of-year wrap up, I want to thank the board of From Brush to Heart for their continuous support of this organization. A special thank you to Leanne, our executive art director, for her help this year.
And thank you to all who donated to our organization, or attended one of our classes. Your support means the world.
I am hopeful that we will have a beautiful 2021. From Brush to Heart will be on hiatus from December 20, 2020-January 10, 2021. We can’t wait to reconnect with you in the New Year!
