Good Morning FBTH Family!
It has been awhile since we connected, and I just want to let you know that we are still here for you through this difficult time. If you need to talk to someone, or just want someone to listen, we are here. It is a tough time, and we need to lean on each other now more than ever. Email info@fb2h.org, reach out to us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter….whatever you would like.
Please make sure you are practicing social distancing. This means staying at least 6 feet apart. This does NOT mean neglect your relationships, whether it be with friends, family, or significant others. At your own pace, reach out to those in your lives who make a difference in your lives. Also make sure to keep yourself and your family safe by washing your hands for at least 20 seconds, disinfecting your home often, and wearing a face mask when you leave your house.
Ok, I got that off of my chest. Let’s get to the donation, shall we? I would like to go back to the point I made about needing to lean on each other. This country and this world are in a very tough place, more so than usual. There are people facing hardships they have never had to deal with before. There are lines miles long of people trying to get basic necessities, such as food, jobs, and testing for their families. Unfortunately, FBTH is unable to help with the last 2 things, but we can help with the food.
Feeding America is a nation-wide program that, in conjunction with local food banks, provides food for families in need. Volunteers are putting themselves on the frontlines to put packages of food in the trunks of people’s cars. There are people working out of the goodness of their hearts to help others, which often means leaving the safety of their homes to do so.
From Brush to Heart is proud to be able to donate $100 to FeedingAmerica.org. Our contribution allows for 1000 meals to be donated to families in need. If you would like to donate, please visit feedingamerica.org.
