Hello and Happy March, FBTH Family!
Last month on February 5th, we donated 48 mini canvases to Care One in Atlantic Highlands. The brilliantly creative recreation and activities team at Care One are using the canvases for a special project, featuring elementary-aged children. We are always happy and proud to donate to Care One, and we can not wait to see how their project comes out!
As you know, we had our first-ever Community Paint Nite fundraiser….and it was a great success! We had a good group of individuals, all with different levels of artistry, come to create their very own painting. Because of the vast generosity of those who attended, and those who donated towards the cause, we were able to raise over $700! Thank you, again, to everyone’s contributions.
March is gearing up to be an exciting month, as well. At our fundraiser, our guests helped us make ‘get well soon’ cards for kids sick in the hospital. We are planning to donate these cards to the pediatric hematology/oncology wing on the Cancer Institute of New Jersey. Since these cards were so fun and so easy to make, we might be having a card making event to make more—stay tuned!
